Never thought the day would come...

I can truly say that I never thought the day would come where I would quit working at The Gap.... well at least not any time soon. I thought I would for sure get my five year watch at the very least. Funny how things never work out the way we plan them too. I think most were shocked to hear me say that I was actually quitting... like for reals this time. It was a bitter sweet day to leave the people that I have spent the last 3 1/2 years with. They have definitely become family to me and I will miss them... but if I never fold another shirt again it will be too soon! So, I suppose this is the ending of a chapter.

Pay it forward...

The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch though...Post this same thing on your own blog and then come back and leave a comment telling me you're in. Fun, huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift!

Really I am only doing this because i want lindsay to make me something cool. But I will make you something cool as well... i did get a sewing machine for christmas.

Homeless people rock...

So I was put in charge of our wards turn to do "Friends of the Desert" or rather feed the homeless today at a church in old Henderson. Kind of forgot how much I kind of like chillin with homeless peeps. For any of you who knew me in college - you would know that I pretty much lived for the day that I was put on bus token duty at my internship - I was saving the world one bus token at a time if you ask bri. So pretty much I am making a goal to find ways in which I can help out more at that church... cause I forget how much homeless people really do rock.

Disclaimer: I totally understand that being homeless is no good - but getting a chance to talk to a group of them today really reminded me how much like me they really are.
