Because I can't bear children...
This blog is dedicated to those who never thought they could have enough to write about because of their lack of children to write about.

Christmas lifetime movie lessons...
After not one but two Christmas lifetime movies today... I learned the following things...
1. Quit your job before you get married. If you don't your boss will want you to go away for a business trip right before your wedding and you will inevitably encounter hurricane type storms where your flight home will get cancelled, then you will miss the next three flights due to unfortunate circumstances, have to ride in a car with someone named Buck Sr., ride on a Harley with Big Daddy, and get stuck in Cheyenne Wyoming where a helicopter will have to pick you up to bring you home. You will ultimately miss your wedding by minutes and be forced to get married with a lit up snowman as your backdrop and have your reception in a place entitled Buffalo Bar.
2. If you ever leave someone at the altar, your next marriage will end in failure, and you will eventually end up marrying the person you left in the first place.
3. If you hear rustling in your basement, it is probably a small child who has been hiding out down there for an unknown amount of time. You will want to keep him as your own but the man you left at the altar will send him away to spite you, but will eventually fight for the kid to return to you.
4. Wearing your wedding shoes every day up until the day of your wedding, does not in fact bring good luck. They will end up black and you will miss your wedding.
5. If you are ice skating and a guy you have never met is being a creep and taking pictures of you, you will end up marrying him.
More to come... as I have four more lifetime movies recorded...

One day only...
Today I took my sisters family pics... no I am not a photographer. Here is how my point and shoot session went this morning.... Sorry if by posting these pics I spoiled your big Christmas card debut Lindsay, but really no one who gets your cards reads my blog, at least that I know of.
Please do not call me for any of your photography needs (unless your last name is thompson, I would take some for you too, however will not be in the least bit offended if you go with a professional). Just a fun way to spend a Sunday morning.

This has always been one of my favorite quotes. I love it because it makes me think of the gospel and how it brings light into our lives even through the hardest of times. Most of all it gives me hope, and something to hold on to. Lexie I love you and I know the Lord is watching over you and your sweet family during this dark night, and He will bring light to your life through his love and gospel of peace.

Some days you need to be reminded...
“You are well acquainted with God our Heavenly Father, … for there is not a soul of you but what has lived in his house and dwelt with him year after year [in the premortal existence]; and yet you are [now on this earth] seeking to become acquainted with him, when the fact is, you have merely forgotten what you did know.” - Brigham Young
