Today was a good day for two reasons.

1) I actually have a job interview next week at the hospital I would LOVE to work at. The only scary part is its a three day interview process in front of a panel of expert nurses. Kill me now.

2) I got to take this little girl to the sunshine mall for her birthday to get a princess outfit for her new bear abbie.

Brandy: Your time would be better spend looking for a husband rather than looking for a job.
Sam: Trust me I've thought about it.
Brandy: Just don't pick up a loser.

Today.....

Abbie: Aunt Sam, do you have a family?

Sam: What do you mean by that... I mean we are family

Abbie: I mean do you have kids? Cause I know your not married

Sam: Nope no kids... you have to get married before you have those.

Abbie: So your alone?

Sam: Guess so kid.

A couple weeks ago....

Nate: I'm never getting married. And neither are you.

Sam: Well there you go.

Gotta love the nieces and nephews :)

Daily Rant...

I know that my facebook status recently stated my dismay with the fact that resumes really don't show employers how awesome you really are. I feel like when you apply for a job you should have to upload a video with a personal statement. Its a real annoyance when annoying people get your job because their resume "looks" better than yours. What does that even mean anyways?

On the same note... when I get emails telling me that I'm not qualified for a basic nursing job... I get all fired up too. Are you telling me that you would rather hire a 60 year old nurse who doesn't wear gloves and spreads disease because she wasn't taught to wear gloves in nursing school over me?

And that's my daily rant. More to come. Probably daily.

I've been watching a lot of this lately...



I don't think I'm a "hoarder" per say. But I do have a lot of junk which I am afraid will one day turn into the picture above and there will be a dead cat in my house and I wont even know it. Needless to say I'm on a mission to de-junk and get organized. I'm just not sure someone who has never been truly organized in their life can change over night. I think there is a reason they give the people on this show therapy.
