I get to be aunt ham...

First of all... the name aunt ham has nothing to do with the posting of my ham. Two different instances that "ham" has come into my life recently. Abbie either wanted ham on thanksgiving or was trying to say my name... I am going to go with the latter cause it makes me feel better about myself.

This past year has been one filled with a new niece and a new nephew. Naters is now four months old. Looks like his mom with his dads shape of head. And has my nose. Its a good nose I think. At least he steared clear of my knees... sorry abbie. He loves Russel Crowe and guitar hero and is so fun because he will sit with me and not cry and he thinks I'm pretty funny. Yesterday crazy daisy joined the family. We are so happy to have another baby girl in the family because I definitely think that every girl needs a sister. And Abbie will have a little playmate soon enough! And Abbie is definitely two now and is a ball of fire which I love. I can't do anything but just laught at her/with her. She just thinks everything is so funny and is the love of grandpa's life. It is so fun to have all these little babies around and I feel especially fortunate that I get to be an aunt to all of them!

I cook giant hams...

Please appreciate the fact that I cooked a 10 pound ham for myself and my roommate. Four pieces later... there was still a whole ham sitting there. Maybe I need the children after all to help me eat the ham... or just keriann back in my life. Cooking for two is not my strong point considering I buy things like the ham at costco. But I love it... just ask my family who stands around the ham pan at family dinner picking at it... me.

I laugh my head off at the stupidest things...

Thank you Vicki... this brought joy to my world. I am sorry that I used to call you an elf in dance class... but not really because your toes did curl up in your jazz shoes and it inspired you to do this. Check out the site below.

I bear art...

Thanks to Jen who convinced me that our art was reason enough to start a blog. Cause even though I don't have kids or a husband to blog about... we are up and coming artists who deserve a post somewhere. Ever since we were in high school we have loved to do arts and crafts together... especially painting. We even entered a scholarship contest our senior year where we painted pictures that were un-identifiable and somehow created meaning for it. Mine looked like a yellow brick road being eaten by an alligator... still can't believe we actually paid to send those in. So Jen... I dedicate this post to you and your haunted tree.
